Tuesday was quite an exciting shoot, I was once again working with the fabulous Ellie Harvey and beautiful Russian model Liza. It was kind of a pet project of mine which the other two very kindly indulged, a make up/body painting based on the work of artist Henri Matisse (see above) The idea had originally begun when I stumbled upon my airbrush which had been collecting cobwebs in the back of a cupboard, I'd kind of assumed it was broken since it met with an unfortunate accident over the summer, however with a bit of tinkering and the aid of some blue tack I got it up and running again, and began experimenting making stencils from different materials (paper covered with sellotape seemed to work best if your wondering) And testing them out on various parts of my body, the compressor makes a hell of a lot of noise, so god only knows what my landlady thought I was up to! On the day Liza was brilliant and sat very patiently while I turned her different colours (see left) Unfortunately I hadn't realised quite how long it was going to take, and it turned into a bit of a mad scramble at the end! but we got it done and hopefully got some amazing images- Thanks guys! Eventually I'd like to do a series of shoots based on the work of different artists such as Picasso, Jean Cocteau, Klimt, Beardsley etc, if anyone fancies giving me a hand let me know!
