![]() Recently I have also been lucky enough to get involved with Aussie prodution company Malice in the making and their forth coming play ' Alive in wonderland'. Having met the cast last Saturday, lovely stylist/costume designer Becky Salmon was kind enough to volunteer as a ginnea-pig for make up trails, and between the two us we manged to create some amazing fantastic characters. Just as well as the next day we had a fundraiser for the production at Ketteners in Leicester square, it was an intimate and very entertaining evening that also featured Ray Meagher (Alf from home and away) Nick Hardcastle (who was also in Home and Away a few years back) As well as fantastic performances from members of the Pricilla Queen of the Desert Musical cast. Great fun and even better I managed to walk away with a few bottles of the complimentary wine tucked into my suitcase yay! Performances of Alive in wonderland begin on Monday 29th November, you can book tickets here http://www.wegottickets.com/event/99465 do come and see it it promises to be a fabulous show.

![]() The next shoot I have done recently involved me going all the way down to Sarf east London to work with extremely talented young photographer Charlotte Beasley.Unfortunately our poor model Nathalie Gayle (N2O models) had got stuck in traffic so by the time she arrived we had just got settled down to watching Notting Hill and weren't particularly in the mood for doing any work! However we eventually managed to get off our arses and between the three of us I think we got some pretty good results. If you like these pics then check out www.charlottebeasleyphotography.com or http://www.modelmayhem.com/nataliegayle ![]() preperation Hello folks sorry I've been a bit slow on the blog updating, been absolutely manic lately and sods law as soon as I get some time off I go and catch some kind of lurgi - Bugger! First of all as you may have noticed there's some new stuff up in recent work. The top one is from a shoot last Friday when I received a last minute call from the lovely Daniel Lehenbaur from Arizona (where the skies always have little fluffy clouds in them) telling me that he was in desperate need of a hairstylist for his 'Neo-grunge, warrior inspired' shoot and would I be able to oblige? Fortunately I could, so on a wet and windy morning I made my way across London to Chiswick park, where the shoot took place. Stylist Kishan Parmar had brought an incredible array of weird an wonderful outfits for our female model (former Britains next top model contestant) Viola Szekey, including coloured glass blocks to be used as shoes, and my personal favorite a jumpsuit decorated with fronds of old VHS tape. However for our male model Zack Fields all that emerged from Kishan's suitcase was a leather collar and a pair of tiny silver shorts that left very little to the imagination. (Really kishan the poor wee lad was only sixteen and a half, you have to be careful, in this day age it probably counts as some kind of abuse.) Fortunately zack took it like a man, braved the elements and only resorted to hiding when trains and dog walkers came past. ![]() The make up was done by Leah Mabe, who works for MAC. Obviously in this uber competitive industry there's never anybody who could've done a better job than you yourself, but err... y'know she was.. alright - Just kidding Leah you were fantastic. For hair Zack was just your basic messy do, where as Viola very kindly allowed me to backcomb hers into some weird and wonderful shapes, which I think turned out quite nicely. Please take a a look at the pics and judge for your selves. Also apologies everyone mentioned in this post for some reason is not letting me post links at the moment, but I will try to get links up to your websites etc sometime soon. |
